Pressure Washing FAQs
Learn how our exterior cleaning process works, how to prepare, what surfaces need soft washing, and where we work around Charlotte.
Ask About Your PropertyWhat is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses controlled water pressure on durable materials such as many concrete surfaces. Soft washing uses lower pressure with an appropriate solution for siding, trim, and other more delicate materials.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Carolina Surface Solutions is licensed and insured.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. Send the service type, property location, approximate size, and photos when possible, or call 704-498-7680.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Charlotte and nearby communities generally within about 30 minutes, including Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Ballantyne, Indian Trail, Concord, Huntersville, Waxhaw, and Fort Mill when the address is within range.
Will pressure washing damage my siding?
Siding usually should not be treated like concrete. We inspect the material and commonly use a lower-pressure soft-wash approach for siding and trim.
Do I need to prepare the property?
Move vehicles, fragile decorations, cushions, toys, and other loose items. Close windows, secure pets, and mention any leaks, delicate plants, outlets, cameras, or fixtures before service.
Can every stain be removed?
No company can promise that every oil, rust, paint, or deeply set stain will disappear. We identify visible concerns and set realistic expectations before work begins.
Do you offer commercial cleaning?
Yes. We clean eligible storefronts, entryways, sidewalks, curbs, service areas, and other small commercial exterior spaces.
Can you schedule evening or weekend work?
Evening and weekend appointment windows may be available. Confirm timing when requesting your estimate.
How often should a property be cleaned?
It depends on shade, trees, traffic, weather exposure, and the material. An annual assessment works for many homes, while high-traffic commercial areas may need more frequent maintenance.
